Job description
Senior CNC MachinistSeeking a Senior CNC Machinist with strong experience in oil and gas manufacturing to support precision machining operations in a modern, climate-controlled facility. This role requires advanced CNC machining knowledge, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to work independently while maintaining tight tolerances and production standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining centers, with a strong emphasis on Doosan CNC machinesMachine precision components used in oil and gas applicationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructionsPerform tooling changes, offsets, and program adjustments as neededMonitor machine performance and part quality throughout production runsConduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standardsFollow all safety, quality, and ISO proceduresMaintain a clean and organized workspace in a climate-controlled environmentCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure efficient workflowExperience Requirements5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience machining oil and gas components strongly preferredAdvanced experience operating Doosan CNC machines requiredProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretationExperience with CNC lathes and/or millsProficient with precision measuring instrumentsStrong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and feeds/speedsAbility to troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustmentsConsistent focus on quality, accuracy, and safetyWhy This OpportunityClean, climate-controlled manufacturing environmentStable oil and gas workModern equipment and organized shop floorOpportunity to work in a highly skilled machining teamApply with a detailed, updated resume for consideration.
