Caregiver Position at Open Arms SolutionsOpen Arms Solutions is seeking experienced and dependable caregivers to provide compassionate care to seniors in Wheeling, IL. This position is ideal for a caregiver who enjoys working with multiple clients and providing care to different residents throughout their shift within a senior community.Position highlights include:Client-to-client caregiving shifts within the senior communityAssist multiple senior clients throughout your scheduled shiftFlexible scheduling opportunities based on availabilityVariety of client care needs and assignmentsCompetitive pay based on experience and assignmentOngoing support from our Care Coordination and Recruitment teamsResponsibilities include:Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to senior clientsAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobilityAssist with transfers, ambulation, and safe positioning as neededProvide companionship and meaningful engagementPrepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client careProvide medication reminders according to the client's care planFollow each client's individualized care plan and company policiesMonitor and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate care teamMaintain clear and timely communication regarding client careMove between client assignments within the senior community as scheduledMinimum qualifications include:Must be 18 years of age or olderAt least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferredExperience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, senior communities, CNA/HHA, DSP, or similar settingsReliable transportationAbility to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needsDependable, compassionate, and professionalStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAuthorized to work in the United StatesIdeal candidates are dependable, flexible, and comfortable providing care to multiple senior clients throughout their shift.
