Sr Community Relations & Business Development RepresentativeCandidates must be located within two hours of Beckley, WV. This position is with Wise Path Recovery Centers and will be responsible for supporting our West Virginia based substance use disorder treatment centers located in Williamson, Morgantown, and a second location coming to Morgantown in the fall 2026.The Sr Community Relations & Business Development Representative position is responsible for increasing referrals and acting as a liaison between the company and the community and potential clients. The team member is a self-starter who works independently to fill their schedule with visits to referral sources. The representative will develop long-standing relationships with individuals from all levels of various referral organizations.Accountabilities:Support behavioral health program initiatives through outreach activitiesDevelops and grows professional relationships with senior executives, medical professionals, and other key decision makers of prospective referral sourcesMaintains a regular servicing schedule that organizes a balance of referral partner maintenance and new business development.Effectively converts an inquiry to a rescue by managing the referral and admissions process.Understands the geographic area for potential referral opportunitiesAssists in the development of marketing/PR materials that will be utilized for building/maintaining relationships for the geographic areaWork with network of professionals and follow-up weekly with data and feedbackArranging meetings with clients and carrying out facility toursWorking closely with supervisor and treatment facility leadership to develop new business.Develop and/or participates in seminars and campaigns for the benefit of obtaining prospective referral resourcesIdentify barriers associated with client access to servicesOther duties as assignedCore Values - Promote and adhere to the workplace values of kindness, teamwork, empathy, integrity, excellence and missionQualifications and Knowledge:Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independentlyAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules or policy & procedure manualsDemonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsAbility to be flexible in relation to department needsHas a general understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.Education, Experience, Skills:BA or BS in a human service, healthcare, business field or equivalent work experience preferred2+ years of experience in a sales or business development positionSubstance Use Disorder or Mental Health experience strongly preferredExperience in healthcare field preferredWork Conditions and Physical Requirements:Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlledBody Positioning: Spend time sitting and standing, making repetitive motions, and spend time using hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.
