Job Title: Construction Project Manager / Estimator
Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager / Estimator to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. This role combines estimating responsibilities with project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction / Estimating Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposalsPerform quantity take-offs and scope analysis from plans and specificationsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsDevelop value engineering options to optimize cost and efficiencyAssist in contract negotiations and project buyoutProject Management Manage all phases of construction projects from kickoff to closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedulesCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsMonitor project budgets, costs, and profitabilityEnsure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contractsClient & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultantsLead project meetings and provide regular progress updatesResolve issues proactively to maintain project momentumField & Quality Oversight Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and qualityEnsure adherence to safety standards and company policiesManage punch lists and project closeout documentation
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in commercial constructionStrong estimating and cost control experienceProficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and leadership skillsHigh attention to detail and organizationAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyNegotiation and subcontractor management expertise
