Your Role Will Include:
Design, program, test, and debug PLC and HMI control systems.
Independently lead field startup and commissioning under pressure.
Own projects end to end: design, panel layout, programming, testing, startup, and handoff.
Program and tune VFDs and servo/motion systems on multi-axis machinery.
Produce electrical design and schematics in AutoCAD Electrical.
Work directly with customers in the field, training operators and representing ASI on-site.
Qualifications:
5+ years designing and commissioning industrial control systems.
2-year degree in Mechatronics, EET, or Electronics (a 4-year EE degree), or equivalent experience.
Strong PLC programming across Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, and RSLogix 500.
FactoryTalk View ME/SE HMI development.
Hands-on VFD and servo/motion experience.
AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.
Working knowledge of UL 508A panel standards.
Willing to travel and work startup hours.
Professional composure with customers, even when a project gets tense.
Preferred
Prior sales, bidding, or estimating experience.
Established relationships in industrial automation.
Salary and Benefits:
Base pay $52.88 to $62.50 per hour, with overtime for hours over 40, typically totaling $110,000 to $130,000 annually, plus a field travel stipend.

Location & Shift Times:
Lake City, MN, or hybrid/remote;
relocation support alsoavailable.
Core hours roughly 7:00 AM to 5:00/6:00 PM, with 8 to 12 hour days during commissioning.
Physical Demands:
Extended hours at a computer.
8 to 12 hour days during field commissioning;
walking, bending, squatting, reaching.
