Overview
Our client, a successful, entrepreneurial, and growing law firm in Morristown, New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Corporate Associate with seven or more years of sophisticated corporate transactional law firm experience to join its expanding Corporate Practice Group.
The firm represents entrepreneurs, founders, investors, and privately held companies across a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, ownership restructurings, private equity transactions, commercial agreements, corporate governance, and strategic business initiatives. Attorneys work directly with business principals and play a meaningful role in transactions from inception through closing.
Responsibilities
Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, coordinating closings, and advising clients on corporate and commercial matters.
Work on M&A transactions, operating and shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and general corporate counseling in a collaborative, non-siloed environment, providing direct client exposure and collaboration with partners on transaction strategy, negotiations, and execution.
Qualifications
Seven or more years of sophisticated corporate transactional law firm experience. Strong experience in M&A transactions, operating and shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and general corporate counseling.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $205,000 to $255,000, plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.
