Job description
Lateral Link is assisting a prestigious Chicago law firm looking to add a Corporate Attorney with 6-14 years of experience to its preeminent team. Qualifications/Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must have 6-14 years of post JD experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and LLC/shareholder agreements as well as day-to-day corporate counseling matters in an AmLaw 200 firm setting . Ideal candidates must be comfortable taking on increasing responsibility, playing a leading role on deals, drafting and negotiating complex documents, and interacting directly with clients.
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in Illinois or the ability to waive in.
AmLaw 200 (or comparable) Firm experience is required.
In-house counsel will only be considered if they also have 6+ years of recent AmLaw 200 Firm experience.
