Senior Corporate Counsel – Arena Family of Companies
Arena Family of Companies is hiring a Senior Corporate Counsel to join a confidential technology company’s in‑house legal team in Orange County, CA.
Key Eligibility Criteria
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. State Bar
Minimum 7+ years of relevant legal experience
Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements
Experience advising cross‑functional business stakeholders
Experience in a technology or regulated environment
Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Orange County, CA
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements (software, SaaS, technology, vendors, data, licensing, services, confidentiality)
Manage contract matters from intake through execution
Advise business leaders on practical legal and commercial issues
Support technology, privacy, data security, regulatory compliance, and operational risk matters
Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary
Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and legal processes
Optimize contract‑management systems and legal technology tools
