LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the Akron area to identify an experienced Cost Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with cost and inventory accounting and wants to play an active role within the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
• Support cost accounting and inventory accounting processes
• Participate in the month-end close process
• Perform inventory analysis, reconciliations and related accounting activities
• Work closely with operations and other departments on inventory-related matters
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Cost Accounting and Inventory Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Month-End Close experience
• Hands-on involvement with the inventory process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
