Job description
Job Position: Senior Cost Accountant
Position Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided,
to determine effects on costs
• Maintain and review weekly KPI's with leadership with ability explain and analyze variances
• Budgeting and standards review management
• Monitor material and labor cost and identify information requirements and recommend
improvements
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to
actual production costs
• Create and maintain internal item code system for ERP software
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
• 4-year degree required - Accounting/Business/Finance preferred
• 5 years experience in relative role
• Close attention to detail and the ability to function efficiently with a minimal supervision
• Food Industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems
• Demonstrated ability to define quantitative/qualitative problems, collect data, interpret results,
and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to map and follow processes
