Job description
Title: Senior Cost Accountant
Salary: up to $105k
Responsibilities:
Lead cost-accounting requirements for the Infor implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Document cost-accounting configurations and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent use post-go-
Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure bill of material (BOM) accuracy, proper cost rollups, and inventory valuation.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to support leadership with spend management, business performance insights, and cost control initiatives.
Perform month-end responsibilities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Support Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Functional backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to maintain workflow continuity.
Ensure adherence to GAAP and ability to maintain compliant processes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
5+ years in financial management and cost accounting.
