Job description

The Trust for Governors Island is seeking a General Counsel to lead legal and compliance work, advise senior leadership, and manage in-house and outside counsel. The role covers real estate, development, contracts, and risk management for Governors Island.

Require a JD, NYS Bar, and 10+ years in law, with strong experience in real estate and nonprofit/government settings. In-person at Governors Island with hybrid scheduling options are offered.
