Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Systems Analyst to work on a key strategic program.
This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working on projects with diverse scope and complex business and technical requirements in a multi-platform, highly integrated data environment.
The role involves gathering requirements for new features or enhancements and analyzing data throughout its lifecycle to support development teams and specify data requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document requirements for new features or enhancements related to alternate investment data initiatives.
Analyze existing system functionality, leveraging data models and SQL queries, and reflect findings in clear functional documentation.
Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
Design and implement dimensional data models.
Communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure operational stability and performance of data systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
6–8 years of professional experience in data systems analysis.
Experience in investment banking, finance, venture capital, asset management, or wealth management (required).
Expertise in data-related projects, including requirements gathering, analysis, and interpretation.
Strong SQL experience (ANSI SQL, Oracle, Snowflake).
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum.
Ability to deliver clear business value and articulate technical solutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for continuous learning and staying current with innovations in data analytics.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in complex environments.
