Responsibilities & Qualifications
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
Ensure the integrity of financial data through regular audits and controls.
Identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement changes.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Support project managers in tracking project budgets and financial performance.
Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs
Integrate and process data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, CSV, Excel, TXT, XML, and JSON files
Develop, optimize, and maintain T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes and Power BI datasets
Build custom ETL components and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing
Design and maintain data models, database schemas, tables, views, and indexes
Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows and SQL Agent jobs
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
Demonstrated ability to lead software development projects and work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Understanding of professional services industry workflows (project accounting, billing, time & expense, budgeting, CRM)
Software: MS SQL Server, MS SQL Integration Services, Excel
Proven experience developing and integrating APIs using C# (or) Python and Postman
Strong experience working with and parsing XML and JSON data formats
Experience working with Deltek APIs and integration frameworks
Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools
Licensure/Certifications/Education
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field required
