Senior Data ProcessorLocation: Elkridge, MD (on-site) Hours: Full time Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week 8:00am - 5:00pm Type of Hire: Temp to hire Pay: $24-$26/hour Benefits: Health insurance (60 days), vision & dental insurance (day 1) Travel: 0–5% Role Summary This position is a fully on-site frontline role responsible for supporting the day-to-day back-office evidence processing, correspondence, and administrative functions for a county traffic enforcement program. Working directly in the County's office environment alongside other team members and client stakeholders, this role helps ensure that evidence packages, court materials, correspondence, and motor vehicle-related tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with program requirements. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive, process-driven work involving legal documents, evidence materials, and confidential information. The Specialist will partner closely with the Howard County Correspondence & Evidence Team Lead and provide critical support to maintain quality, compliance, and operational continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesEvidence Package ProcessingPrepare and process evidence packages in accordance with County and Client proceduresSupport evidence package creation and submission into the appropriate queues and systemsPrepare court evidence packets and administrative court packages for review and use by law enforcement and court stakeholdersAssemble and maintain digital court evidence package files for individual citationsOrganize, label, and maintain docket files and digital folders to support accurate recordkeeping and retrievalCorrespondence & Printing SupportCreate and process outgoing correspondence, including citations, late notices, summons letters, and failure to appear lettersEnsure correspondence is complete, accurate, and routed for required client review and approval before mailingPerform internal printing tasks related to correspondence and evidence packages in compliance with contractual requirementsMaintain document quality and formatting standards across all printed and mailed materialsMVA Flagging & Administrative SupportSupport motor vehicle administration flag additions and removals in accordance with established procedures and timelinesPerform assigned flagging and removal tasks as scheduled to meet County expectations and operational needsMaintain accurate logs, documentation, and audit trails related to MVA activityEscalate discrepancies, errors, or unusual cases to the Team Lead promptlyQuality, Compliance & Record AccuracyFollow Maryland state law, Howard County ordinances, and Client program procedures related to automated enforcement and traffic safetyHandle confidential information, legal documents, and evidence materials with discretion and careReview work for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards before final submissionIdentify errors or process issues and communicate them to the Team Lead in a timely mannerSupport updated documentation and standard operating procedures as workflows evolveTeam & Client SupportWork closely with the Team Lead and other on-site staff to maintain daily workflow coverage and service levelsCommunicate professionally with internal partners and client stakeholders when neededSupport cross-training and provide backup coverage for core operational tasksAlways represent Client professionally in the client environmentQualifications Required1–3 years of experience in a high-volume administrative, legal support, correspondence, records management, or back-office processing roleStrong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive, document-heavy work with a high degree of accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesComfortable handling confidential information and sensitive documentsIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OutlookComfortable navigating web-based systems, databases, and shared digital filesAbility to work fully on-site in Howard County, Maryland, Monday–FridayAbility to pass a background check and fingerprinting as required by Howard County and ClientPreferredExperience working in a public-sector or client-operated office environmentExperience supporting evidence preparation, correspondence workflows, or document quality reviewKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyProfessional communicationReliability and accountabilityOrganization and time managementComfort with repetitive, process-oriented workAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to confidentiality and complianceLevel One Personnel is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
