Job description
Amentum is seeking a Principal Database Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for our database administration team on the IRES contract. You will oversee multiple platforms, guide cloud and container strategies, and collaborate with developers and admins to design scalable data solutions.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, Cassandra, MongoDB, and SQL, plus cloud and containerization skills, and holds a DoD security clearance.
