Job description
DCDC is seeking qualified candidates with a background in architecture and/or urban design. The Director position will be a key part of the DCDC team and will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of project staff and deliverables. Applicants should have a working background in architecture and community design project & practice management. Applicants should have experience taking a project through to construction document and construction administration and experience coordinating and reviewing engineering and other consultant work. Applicants should have highly motivated, organized, and self-directed. Candidates should have a professional degree in architecture with 8 years of related work experience. Must be familiar with Adobe Cloud, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and CAD/Revit. Visit dcdc-udm.org for more information on DCDC.The position is in person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Office administration
Directing and managing projects, overseeing production and reviewing all project materials and deliverables, developing project materials and final deliverables
Managing and overseeing junior staff and students assigned to the Project Director's projects
Mentoring junior staff and students assigned to the Project Director's projects
Business and Fund Development - identifying and securing new project contracts and grants, writing project and grant proposals
