THE OPPORTUNITY

Z SUPPLY is looking for an exceptional Senior Director, Brand Marketing, to lead the evolution of our brand and help shape its next chapter of growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic, consumer-obsessed brand builder who understands how to create both brand relevance and business impact. The Senior Director, Brand Marketing will be responsible for defining and bringing to life Z SUPPLY’s overarching brand marketing strategy—strengthening our positioning, expanding awareness, deepening consumer connection, and ensuring the brand shows up consistently and meaningfully across every touchpoint.

Rooted in an effortless California lifestyle, Z SUPPLY has built a loyal consumer following and strong product marketing discipline. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a brand leader who can build upon that foundation to bring fresh thinking, cultural awareness, strong commercial instincts, and a clear vision for where the brand can go next.

This leader will sit at the intersection of brand, consumer, and product, translating business priorities and consumer insights into compelling brand strategies and experiences from e-commerce to wholesale. From seasonal campaigns and product launches to PR, influencers, partnerships and brand experiences, this role will help determine how Z SUPPLY connects with consumers and builds lasting brand equity.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands‑on leader—someone who can establish a long‑term vision, inspire teams and agency partners, and also drive the rigor and execution required to turn that vision into results.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAD

Brand Strategy

Partner with Creative Marketing leadership on the annual brand roadmap, turning business goals and consumer insight into focused strategic priorities.

Own Z Supply's brand messaging architecture and positioning framework — the strategic backbone of who we are and what we stand for, which Creative then translates into voice, tone, and social execution.

Partner closely with Creative to ensure strategy and execution stay tightly connected

Build the seasonal and annual brand marketing calendar, connecting campaigns, launches, partnerships, and brand moments into one cohesive story

Manage the brand marketing budget, balancing brand and wholesale investments to deliver brand resonance and opportunities for discovery

Identify emerging consumer behaviors, cultural shifts, and marketplace opportunities that can strengthen Z SUPPLY’s relevance and competitive position.

Ensure seasonal and monthly campaigns are designed holistically across channels and consumer touchpoints.

Help define opportunities for the brand to participate authentically in culture while remaining true to Z SUPPLY’s identity and California lifestyle positioning.

Partner closely with Creative, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Merchandising and other key business leaders to create a connected consumer and brand experience.

Wholesale

Oversee Wholesale Marketing inclusive of tradeshow support, collateral, reporting, and wholesale/retail events

Partner with Wholesale team to develop annual Wholesale marketing roadmap and timelines across the seasonal product lifecycle, from concept through sales and GTM.

Coordinate across Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Design, Planning, Digital, Visual, and Media teams to support integrated execution.

Build retail playbooks and integrated content plans, launch briefs and repeatable frameworks that scale across retailers.

PR + Strategic Partnerships

Oversee PR, brand partnerships, and collaborations.

Identify high-impact opportunities to extend Z SUPPLY’s reach, introduce the brand to new audiences, and create culturally relevant brand moments.

Oversee PR agency and external partner relationships, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

Evaluate partnership opportunities through both a brand-building and commercial lens.

Social + Community

Partner closely with Creative team to develop platform native, social first content strategies growing each channel and deepening engagement

Own community/creator/influencer strategy and execution to drive growth, brand equity, and community engagement

Oversee the development of an advocate network that converts brand love into measurable word-of-mouth growth, and makes Z SUPPLY culturally relevant at scale

Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing brand organization across Social Strategy, Wholesale Marketing, Community/Influencer, PR, Events, and Brand

Establish clear priorities, accountability, and ways of working that enable the team to operate strategically, creatively, and efficiently.

Coach and develop talent while building capabilities to support the future needs of the organization.

Create an environment that encourages curiosity, strong thinking, collaboration, and an ongoing commitment to raising the bar.

Bring an outside‑in perspective to the organization, continuously challenging the team to think bigger about the consumer, the competitive landscape, and the future of the brand.

Serve as a strategic brand voice with executive leadership, presenting recommendations, opportunities, results and future priorities.

Build trusted relationships across the organization and influence effectively in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Performance & Brand Health

Establish meaningful KPIs to evaluate brand health, consumer engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Oversee brand marketing reporting in partnership with VP, Creative + Operations

WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for an accomplished brand leader with a track record of building relevant consumer brands and translating brand strategy into meaningful business growth.

The strongest candidates will bring:

12+ years of progressive brand and integrated marketing experience, including significant leadership responsibility.

5+ years of experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.

Deep experience within fashion, apparel, lifestyle, beauty, premium consumer or other highly brand‑driven businesses.

A demonstrated track record of developing and evolving brand positioning, consumer strategy and integrated marketing programs.

Experience building brands across multiple consumer touchpoints, including wholesale, digital, social, influencer, PR, partnerships, ecommerce and wholesale.

Strong understanding of the relationship between brand building and commercial performance.

Experience leading seasonal campaigns, product launches and go‑to‑market strategies.

A sophisticated understanding of today’s consumer landscape, culture and the rapidly evolving ways consumers discover, experience and engage with brands.

Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to move fluidly between big‑picture thinking and execution.

Experience managing agencies, external partners and meaningful marketing budgets.

Exceptional communication, storytelling and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and inspire executive‑level audiences.

A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build alignment across diverse functions.

The ability to thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and leaders are expected to both set direction and make things happen.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

THE LEADER WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Beyond experience, we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves building brands.

You are deeply curious about consumers and culture. You have strong instincts, but you also know when to rely on data and insights. You understand what makes a brand distinctive and know how to protect its core while continuing to push it forward.

You are comfortable operating at the executive level while staying close enough to the work to ensure great ideas become great execution. You know how to bring creative, commercial and functional teams together around a shared vision—and you build credibility through both your thinking and your ability to deliver.

Most importantly, you’re excited by the opportunity to take an established, growing lifestyle brand and help define what comes next.

WHY Z SUPPLY

As the brand continues to evolve, this role offers the opportunity to have a meaningful influence on its future—shaping how we tell our story, connect with consumers, build cultural relevance and bring the Z SUPPLY experience to life across channels.

For the right brand leader, this is an opportunity to do more than lead marketing.

It’s an opportunity to help shape the next era of Z SUPPLY.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $185,000 – $200,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, scope of expertise and overall fit for the role.
