The Senior Director, Employee and Labor Relations at The University of Chicago leads the ELR team, shaping policy, contracts, and employment practices to advance the University’s mission with fairness and legal compliance.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Human Resources, this role directs labor relations strategy, negotiates with unions, and advises deans and leaders on complex matters for 4,000+ university employees.
