Job description
Senior Director, FP&A at Dyne Therapeutics
leading financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for R&D functions including Research, Clinical Development, and Portfolio Strategy.
Responsibilities
develop and manage enterprise planning processes, financial models, and dashboards
serve as a strategic partner to R&D leadership, translating program timelines and operational plans into actionable financial insights
oversee budget reviews, variance analysis, and compliance with GAAP and SOX
support capital planning and strategic projects
enhance FP&A processes and systems
build and develop a high-performing team.
Requirements
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related
15+ years in finance with at least 8 years leading teams, preferably in biotech or life sciences
deep understanding of R&D financial drivers, clinical trial forecasting, and project-based budgeting
proficiency in financial modeling, US GAAP, and forecasting tools
strong stakeholder influence, communication, and organizational skills.
