Senior Director of Intelligence, Analytics & Data
About the Opportunity
Job Summary
The Senior Director of Intelligence, Analytics & Data providesstrategic leadership for Advancement's reporting, analytics, datagovernance, innovation, and organizational learning functions.Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement Resources, this roleestablishes priorities, governance structures, and analyticalstrategies that enable data-informed decision-making across theAdvancement enterprise.
The Senior Director oversees a portfolio that includes reportingand business intelligence, data governance, integrations and dataarchitecture, innovation and emerging technologies, artificialintelligence enablement, and organizational learning. This roleserves as a strategic advisor to Advancement leadership, ensuringdata, technology, and analytics capabilities are aligned withfundraising priorities and institutional objectives. The SeniorDirector leads a team of directors and analysts responsible forbuilding a modern, scalable, and trusted data environment thatsupports fundraising effectiveness and operationalexcellence.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, businessintelligence, data governance, advancement services, informationmanagement, or related field.
Experience leading analytics, reporting, or data strategyfunctions.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and complexorganizational initiatives.
Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence,and organizational performance measurement.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred.
Experience in higher education advancement, fundraising, ornonprofit environments.
Experience implementing enterprise analytics, governance, or AIinitiatives.
Experience leading organizational change and innovationprograms.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, CRM systems, anddata platforms.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Strategic Leadership & OrganizationalPrioritization
Establish the vision, priorities, and operating model forIntelligence, Analytics & Data. Align resources and initiativeswith Advancement goals and provide strategic guidance to leadershipregarding analytics, reporting, governance, innovation, andtechnology opportunities.
2. Analytics, Reporting & Decision SupportStrategy
Oversee the development of reporting, business intelligence, andanalytics capabilities that support fundraising performance,operational effectiveness, and leadership decision-making. Ensurestakeholders have access to trusted and actionableinformation.
3. Data Governance & Enterprise InformationManagement
Provide executive oversight of Advancement data governance, dataquality, stewardship, and information management practices.Establish accountability structures and governance processes thatimprove confidence in institutional data assets.
4. Innovation, AI & Organizational Learning
Champion innovation across Advancement through the evaluation andadoption of emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, andorganizational learning programs. Foster a culture of continuousimprovement and data literacy.
5. Leadership, Talent Development & Cross-FunctionalPartnership
Lead and develop a high-performing team of directors and analysts.Partner with Advancement leadership, Technology, Finance, anduniversity stakeholders to advance shared goals and driveorganizational effectiveness.

Expected Hiring Range:
$130,945.00 - $189,868.75
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will dependon several factors, which may include your education, experience,location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a paycomparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject tochange.
