Job description
The Hartford is seeking a Senior Director & Actuary to lead the Middle & Large Property actuarial team, covering roughly $1.0B of property and inland marine business. The role reports to the AVP and collaborates with product, underwriting, ERM, and other stakeholders to drive pricing, performance monitoring and data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate holds FCAS or strong actuarial background, 5+ years in P&C, excels in Excel, and can mentor a small team using Python/R/SQL.
