About the Role

Senior Director of Quality. Incumbent will lead the company's quality strategy, systems, and culture or our largest division. Responsible for ensuring world-class product quality, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Responsible for leadership for quality professionals that include managers, supervisors, team leaders and technicians.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's quality vision, strategy, and performance objectives.

Lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Continuous Improvement.

Maintain compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry quality standards, including AS9100.

Drive customer satisfaction through proactive quality management, problem resolution, and performance improvement.

Champion root cause analysis, corrective actions, risk mitigation, and defect prevention.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to improve operational excellence and business performance.

Lead customer audits, internal audits for site and division, management reviews, and quality system assessments.

Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing quality organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

15+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated success developing and leading certified quality management systems and customer-focused quality initiatives.

Strong leadership, communication, change management, and customer relationship skills.

Proven record of driving measurable improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.

Broad experience that includes start-up, multi-site, acquisitions and significant business transformation.

Required Skills

Certifications such as Lead Auditor and completion of Quality Training
