About the team
We are looking for a driven Document Control Professional to support our Project Team. As a member of our team, you'll be coordinating and administering document management activities relative to identification, control, and change documents directly related to the assigned projects. You will track the life cycle of documents and records with all revisions, including Design documents and specifications. You will also support tracking through an internal ticketing system to track progress. You will also independently manage other day-to-day tasks related to document and records management. This position regularly interacts with internal engineering team members and external consultant contacts.
Description
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for setting up, managing and maintaining the document control systems for all historical, incoming and outgoing documents in support of the project.
* Track document revisions and ensure project teams are working from the most current approved versions.
* Generate periodic document control reports, including tracking of pending documents and critical deadlines.
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient document flow and communication.
* Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Ensuring that contract requirements are met.
* Ensuring documents meet standards for production.
* Subject Matter Expert for the document control systems implemented.
* Assuring project participants are trained in practical application of systems.
* Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to support project execution.
* General administrative responsibilities within the document control function including data entry, providing training of new users, and maintaining internal process documentation.

Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 2+ years of Document Control experience, preferably supporting construction, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects.
* Experience working with document management systems and electronic filing platforms.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
* Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary project team.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in related field.
* Previous experience supporting large-scale construction or data center projects.
* Experience with project management and document control platforms such as Procore, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, SharePoint, JIRA, or similar systems.
* Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation processes.
* Experience supporting project turnover and closeout activities.
