Required Technical Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring, application performance management (APM), or observability engineering.
3+ years of hands-on experience deploying, configuring, managing, and administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
Demonstrated expertise in Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, Smartscape, and Davis AI for application and infrastructure monitoring.
Strong experience implementing application performance monitoring (APM), analyzing application performance, and performing distributed transaction tracing.
Experience configuring automated application and infrastructure discovery, dependency mapping, and end-to-end observability.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues across application, middleware, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
Strong understanding of application architectures, REST APIs, databases, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience monitoring Windows and Linux servers, virtualized environments, and enterprise infrastructure.
Hands-on experience configuring monitoring dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, performance baselines, and analytics.
Working knowledge of Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and modern Dynatrace analytics capabilities for querying, analyzing, and troubleshooting observability data.
Experience with Dynatrace Real User Monitoring (RUM) and/or Synthetic Monitoring to assess application availability and user experience.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across application development and infrastructure teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Dynatrace monitoring solutions across enterprise environments.
Manage Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate installations, configurations, upgrades, and operational health.
Utilize Smartscape and Davis AI to identify dependencies, detect anomalies, and investigate performance issues.
Implement and maintain application performance monitoring and distributed transaction tracing.
Configure automated application discovery, infrastructure monitoring, and dependency mapping.
Troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks across applications, databases, middleware, and infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain Dynatrace dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection rules, and performance analytics.
Use DQL and Dynatrace analytics capabilities to investigate incidents, analyze telemetry data, and identify root causes.
Implement Real User Monitoring and Synthetic Monitoring to improve application availability and digital user experience.
Collaborate with application, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability, performance, and availability.
Establish monitoring standards, document configurations, and recommend observability improvements aligned with enterprise requirements.
