Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team at ONICON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the analog signal chain required to capture and report data from a variety of sensing technologies used in the ONICON family of flow and BTU metering systems. This includes developing and refining new circuits and improving existing ones. This job also includes being a technical project lead for the development of precision measurement devices.
Essential Functions:
Lead electronic design activities from concept through production release, including schematic development, SPICE simulation, PCB layout, Design Reviews and prototype testing.
Assist in the preparation and development of project specific procedures
Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure integrated product development.
Support and drive efforts to design electronics that comply with industry standards
Update, maintain and train electrical design processes, tools, and best practices.
Lead and oversee the development of test procedures and equipment including with 3rd party vendors.

Qualifications:
Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related (Masters or PhD is a plus)
7+ years’ experience with analog circuit design and analysis including error budgets
7+ years’ experience in hands-on development of measurement and/or scientific instrumentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:Altium Design Suite
PCB Layout
10+ years of related experience
Technical Leadership
Registered P.E.
Mixed analog and digital circuit design and analysis
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience designing tests, analyzing data and interpreting test results
Embedded systems design
Physical Demands:
The employee may be occasionally required to travel nationally to attend conferences and support testing, and integration efforts Travel may involve overnight stays air travel driving personal vehicle.
