Overview
A growing architecture/engineering firm with deep regional reach is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design for projects across New England. This role suits a licensed PE who wants technical leadership, variety in project types, and a collaborative culture focused on professional growth, designing and delivering electrical systems for commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities while playing a key role throughout project delivery.
What you'll do
Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems design
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, one line diagrams, and detailed drawings
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams
Conduct construction administration including site visits and technical reviews
Oversee QA/QC to maintain technical excellence
Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions
Interact with clients and present solutions
Required qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering
PE license
Eight or more years of electrical building systems design experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering tools
Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles
Leadership, mentoring, and excellent communication skills
