$125,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details
Design electrical systems for large central cooling and heating plants, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and control systems
Perform engineering calculations such as heat and mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis
Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including electrical engineers and designers
Take initiative in completing design and analysis tasks for project submission packages, which include drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives
Collaborate with project managers, team members, other disciplines, and external consultants to address design coordination and issues
Participate in construction administration by attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and documenting progress
Requirements
Possess strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Licensed as a Professional Engineer with over 7 years of experience in engineering design and construction administration
Proficient in designing using Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Experienced in conducting fieldwork and documenting existing engineering conditions

Reviewing submittals
Knowledge of NEC and standard industry design practices
Preferred qualifications
Experience with institutional infrastructure systems
Experience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code
