Job description
Our client, a well-established and growing MEP contractor, is seeking two experienced Senior Electrical Project Managers to support projects in Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia . This organization is backed by a larger construction platform, offering the resources of a major contractor with the agility of a specialized electrical division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, high-ownership environment and has a strong background managing electrical scopes on commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
Responsibilities
Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field teams
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Oversee procurement, cost tracking, and change management
Collaborate closely with preconstruction and field leadership to ensure successful project delivery
Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
Qualifications
7+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects
Background working for an electrical contractor or MEP firm preferred
Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional projects
Strong understanding of electrical systems, project financials, and scheduling
Proven ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with clients and teams
