Job description
Allen Control Systems is seeking a Firmware Engineer to own low-level embedded software for autonomous aircraft. This role is a deep individual contributor position, requiring architecture and design decisions from day one, including bare-metal vs RTOS tradeoffs and HIL testing infrastructure.
You will develop STM32-based firmware, write drivers for sensors and peripherals (CAN, I2C, UART, Ethernet), and define deployment strategies for fielded systems with bootloaders and OTA updates.
