We are looking for an experienced Sr. Embedded Software Engineer responsible for architecture, design, development & testing of CheckVideo's flagship product assets. Additional duties include writing high performance, scalable & secure software to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test & deploy CheckVideo'sembedded software
Develop in a Linux environmentusingsourcecodecodesystemand deployment pipelines
Gain and maintainexpertise in board design,BSP,SoCand peripheral control firmware
Maintainand updatesecure production software as necessary
Scale and tune forperformance to meet production demand
Follow SDLC best practices for scalability, reliability & observability
Qualifications
Education:Bachelor'sdegree required;Advanced degree preferred
Experience: 10+ years of developing firmwarefor mass marketon Embedded Linux stacks
SDLC and programming languages:C, C++,Python,Go,Rust, Shell scripting
Parallel processing & concurrency:Multiprocessing, Multithreading, IPC
Media:Experience withvideo/audioencoding andstreaming
AI Training & Inference:LLM, Deep Learning,Computer Vision,PyTorch,TensorFlow
Source codecontrolsystems:Git,Bitbucket
DevSecOpstools:Jenkins, Gitlab, GitOps
Operations:Strongskills introubleshooting production issues
Helpful but not required:
Experience withcamera optics, ISP tuning and video processing
