Job description
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support munitions software development in Maple Grove, MN.
Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for munitions programs.
Develop object-oriented software using C++ in RTOS and/or bare-metal environments.
Support requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, unit testing, hardware/software integration, and verification.
Coordinate software safety, cybersecurity, configuration management, and quality-assurance activities.
Review requirements and designs for alignment with customer and system-level requirements.
Develop project schedules, estimates, metrics, and technical status reports.
Monitor technical, cost, and schedule performance and take corrective action when needed.
Support EVMS reporting, Control Accounts, Work Packages, and estimates at completion.
Prepare for and participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and customer technical reviews.
Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and communicate risks, issues, and opportunities to program leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with at least five years of related experience; master’s degree with three years; or Ph.D. with one year.
Strong object-oriented design and embedded C++ development experience.
Experience developing real-time applications using an RTOS and/or bare-metal environment.
Knowledge of software engineering and development processes.
Familiarity with Ethernet communications.
Understanding of EVMS and Control Account Manager or Work Package Manager responsibilities.
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Pay Range: $58.00- $63.00per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
