Senior Employment Litigation Associate
This role presents an opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to significantly impact employment litigation within a dynamic firm. The Senior Employment Litigation Associate will manage complex cases from inception to resolution, engaging directly with clients and leading litigation teams. The position requires a proactive approach to case strategy and a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys. Salary Range: $270,000 - $270,000 / Year DOE
Senior Employment Litigation Associate Responsibilities
Independently manage employment litigation matters, including drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings
Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
Take and defend depositions, appear at hearings, and lead mediations
Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys
Collaborate effectively with litigation teams
Senior Employment Litigation Associate Requirements:
7+ years of experience in employment litigation
Significant experience managing cases from inception through resolution
Experience in labor and employment law, including wage-and-hour claims and discrimination matters
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills
Flexibility and adaptability in handling case strategy
Experience in a smaller boutique firm or a desire to transition from a larger firm is preferred
