Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)
Duration: 3 months + extensions (up to 18 months)
Rate: $70-$80/hour
Join the IT Global Infrastructure & Operations team at a global enterprise for a three-month contract focused on modernizing end-user computing. You’ll shape the architecture for endpoint management, virtual desktops, identity integration, and endpoint security.
This is a chance to lead workplace improvements from design through delivery, including zero-touch provisioning, modern device management, and VDI optimization. You’ll partner with teams across IT, mentor engineers, and present progress to leadership.
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
10+ years in end-user computing, workplace engineering, or infrastructure architecture
Expertise with Intune, SCCM/Configuration Manager, and Jamf or a comparable macOS management tool
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, or VMware Horizon
Strong knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD, device compliance, OS lifecycle management, and patching
Experience leading enterprise EUC transformation programs
Ability to explain architecture decisions, risks, and business outcomes to stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience
Microsoft, Azure, Citrix, or VMware EUC certifications
Experience with Nexthink, Lakeside, Aternity, or similar digital experience tools
PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph API, or workflow automation experience
Knowledge of Zero Trust, Conditional Access, Defender, and EDR/XDR integration
Experience with ServiceNow in a regulated global enterprise

Daily Responsibilities
Define the EUC roadmap and lead endpoint, mobility, and virtual desktop modernization
Set standards for provisioning, OS builds, patching, application delivery, and device compliance
Use telemetry, KPIs, and automation to improve device health and employee experience
Partner with Identity, Security, Network, Cloud, Service Desk, and business teams
Mentor engineers and lead design reviews; responsibility percentages were not provided
