Reports To : Director of Estimating
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION
:
Senior Lead Estimators will be responsible for the production of high-quality bid proposals for all customers in the company. Have a firm understanding of the different regional or work group strategies including Gap Revenue needs. Will communicate with the Directors of that region which RFP’s they are supporting. Will manage assigned estimates. Will estimate and oversee the preparation of proposals. Give weekly reports during the department meetings. Will assist to create, standardize, and implement WBS and Item Database Resources in B2W. Oversee that the estimating processes is being adhered to for all estimates in the company including those done by others (PM’s, APM’s, etc.). Will provide support to other regions to achieve departmental goa

Conduct cost challenges along with quality and accuracy checks to estimates in his re

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICAT
IONS:
Engineering, Business, or Technical degree and or Typically 4 -7 years of related expe
rience.Experience in Electrical Transmission/Distribution Overhead or Distribution Underground esti
mating.Progressively responsible experience in the utility/contractor services
market.Must possess excellent leadership qualities along with effective oral and written communication
skillsMust be able to effectively manage shared resources, to achieve departmenta
l goalsMust be able to effectively oversee multimillion-dollar contract bid pr
oposalsMust be a team player able to work within a cross functional envi
