nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
nnnPrepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
n
nnParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
n
nnAnalyze financial results and explain account variances.
n
nnEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
n
nnSupport internal and external audit requests.
n
nnAssist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
n
nnMaintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
n
nnSupport SOX compliance and documentation.
n
nnReview production order settlements and manufacturing postings within SAP.
n
n nQUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
nnnBS or BA degree in accounting or Finance
n
nnBig Four experience preferred
n
nn5+ years of accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment. Public company and Aerospace & Defense Industry experience preferred.
n
nnCPA required.
n
nnSAP experience
n
nnPossess a strong general accounting knowledge, including GAAP and related principles and practices.
n
nnSound business judgement and ability to synthesize, analyze, and extract implications from data.
n
nnAbility to frame unstructured and complex analytical problems to a broad audience.
n
nnStrong business partnering skills with the ability to regularly interface with executive management.
n
nnExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
nnAdvanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word. Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana and Analytics Cloud is a plus.
n
n nPREFERRED SKILLS:
nnnCPA and SAP
n
nnStrong business acumen and financial analysis capabilities.
n
n nDetail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance management skills.
nMinimum Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000
