LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for an exciting opportunity in Oak Brook, IL. This individual will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A experience within a manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or related corporate environment and be comfortable partnering with operational and finance leaders to provide actionable financial insights.

Location: Oak Brook, IL
Worksite Type: Hybrid, 2 days onsite
Position Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour
Responsibilities
Manage and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, KPIs, operating metrics, and business performance
Perform detailed budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis and communicate key drivers
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic initiatives
Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and operational performance across business units
Provide financial insights and recommendations to finance and operational leadership
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages
Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, supply chain, and other business teams
Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact business performance
Support month-end reporting and ensure financial results are accurately reflected
Improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects for leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
4+ years of Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, or related finance experience
Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or a similar corporate environment highly preferred
Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and financial modeling
