The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building, investigating, and improving, not simply running an established monthly process. The company is rebuilding and scaling its FP&A infrastructure, and this person will work directly with the Director of FP&A to organize data, develop analyses, improve reporting, and help leadership understand what is driving the business.
There is meaningful exposure to senior leadership and potential advancement into an FP&A Manager role as the organization continues to grow.

Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and operational analyses
Analyze performance across multiple divisions and entities
Connect workforce metrics—including headcount, utilization, bill rates, pay rates, and margins—to financial results
Prepare timely analysis for leadership and the company’s private equity sponsor
Organize information from multiple systems and identify the story behind the numbers
Improve spreadsheets, reporting tools, and FP&A processes
Partner with accounting and operational leaders to investigate issues and pursue answers
Support ad hoc analysis in a fast-changing environment
What We’re Looking For
At least three years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience
Advanced Excel skills and confidence managing complex formulas
Working knowledge of accounting and the P&L
Strong attention to detail and a consistent record of producing accurate work
Ability to turn incomplete or imperfect information into useful analysis
Independent thinker who takes ownership and follows questions through to an answer
Clear communicator who can work effectively with finance and non-finance leaders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
Experience in staffing, healthcare, education, professional services, or another labor-driven business is helpful but not required. Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, NetSuite, Planful, NSPB, private equity, or multi-entity organizations is also a plus.
This is a flexible hybrid role based in Denver (One day/week in office on average). xavwley
