Senior Financial Services Litigation AssociateDirect Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Senior Financial Services Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office.Location (Hybrid)Los Angeles, CaliforniaPosition OverviewThis opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigation attorney with a strong background in financial services litigation and trusts and estates disputes. The role offers significant client interaction and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for clients across a broad range of industries, both nationally and internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle complex litigation matters involving: Financial services disputesTrusts and estates litigationDraft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefsConduct legal research and develop litigation strategyManage traditional and electronic discoveryAssist with and take/defend depositionsAppear before state and federal courtsCollaborate with litigation teams on high-level case management and trial preparationQualificationsMinimum 6 years of litigation experienceStrong background in financial services and trusts & estates litigationAppellate experience preferredExperience practicing at a mid-sized or large law firm strongly preferredExcellent academic credentialsStrong research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsExperience managing discovery and handling depositionsAdmission and good standing with the California Bar requiredFederal clerkship experience is a plusLaw Review experience strongly preferredApplication RequirementsCandidates should submit:ResumeCover letterLaw school transcript (unofficial accepted)Writing sample (All materials should be submitted in PDF format.)Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $340,000 – $410,000 annuallyCompensation is based on experience and other job-related factors.Benefits may include:Discretionary bonusMedical, dental, and vision insurance (with optional HSA)Short- and long-term disability coverageLife insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare & Dependent Care)401(k) planPaid time off (vacation and sick leave)Employee assistance program
