Key Accountabilities
Individual Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate the condition and potential cause of distress to a wide range of structural buildings and facilities.
Perform field investigations of site conditions and subsequent analyses of structural components.
Produce written reports detailing findings of investigations, including conceptual repair recommendations.
Team Responsibilities
Work with an inter-disciplinary team of engineers and construction consultants as part of investigations.
Receive mentoring from senior engineering staff and provide mentorship to junior staff members.
Marketing/Business Development Responsibilities
Develop and maintain client relationships through projects and team-related activities within the region.
Experience and Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Illinois
Minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis, evaluation, and design of building envelope and roofing systems
BS degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture
MS degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Architecture is a plus
SKILLS:
Experience in Microsoft Office suite, structural analysis software, and CADD software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work well within a team.

Additional Requirements
Must be physically able to perform investigations in the field (including climbing ladders, carrying inspection tools, stooping, kneeling, etc.).
