Job description
Protingent Staffing seeks a Lead Fuel Performance Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN to lead high-fidelity modeling of TRISO fuel behavior, from particle scale to full reactor blocks, and to drive LOFC transient simulations and licensing inputs.
The role requires 8+ years in fuel performance, advanced multiphysics analysis, and hands-on experience with BISON, Teamcenter, and QA processes for nuclear software; you will own V&V, code applicability, and safety reporting under strict QA.
