What You'll Build

You'll contribute to key product experiences, including:

Responsibilities

Product Development

Design, build, and launch customer-facing features from end to end

Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to turn ideas into production-ready solutions

Translate product requirements into scalable technical implementations

Participate in product discovery and technical planning

Front-End Engineering

Develop responsive, accessible web applications using React and TypeScript

Build reusable UI components and contribute to our design system

Optimize application performance and user experience across devices

Collaborate with Design to deliver polished, production-quality interfaces

Platform & Operations

Monitor application performance and system health

Troubleshoot production issues and improve operational reliability

Write automated tests and participate in code reviews

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Collaboration & Leadership

Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions

Help establish engineering best practices and development standards

Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Compliance teams

Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform scales

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience owning features end-to-end

Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces

Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar) is beneficial

Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g., Git) is advantageous

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on reliability, security, and performance in consumer-facing products are important

Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and mentor other engineers is valued

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred

Preferred

Experience building consumer-facing fintech, banking, lending, or payments products

Familiarity with financial APIs such as Plaid, Stripe, or modern payment processors

Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems

Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure application design

Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
