Job description
We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help us build scalable systems that connect and empower communities. You'll work with a modern tech stack and have the opportunity to shape both our technical architecture and product direction.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
Architect distributed systems that handle millions of users
Collaborate with product and design teams to ship user-focused features
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision‑making
Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices
Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
Requirements
5+ years of experience in full-stack development
Experience with Node.js, Express, and RESTful API design
Knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience with real‑time systems (WebSockets, WebRTC)
Knowledge of GraphQL and modern API design patterns
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Open source contributions
Experience building developer tools or platforms
