Job description
The WV Offices of the Insurance Commissioner seeks a General Counsel to provide legal advice to the executive team, review statutes, draft bills and rules, and summarize complex insurance issues for the agency.
Required is admission to the West Virginia bar and nine years of full-time legal experience, including administrative or judicial proceedings; a year of service with the agency can substitute for two years of other qualifying experience.
