Job description
A health services organization in Colorado is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their primary care practice in the Greater Denver area.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 32 hours per week; 4 eight-hour shifts
Setting: In-person
Responsibilities: Manage a patient panel with a broad range of needs, including acute, chronic, and preventive visits
Provide care in office and testing center settings, with occasional telehealth visits
Participate in weekly clinical rounds and ongoing learning opportunities
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
Use clinical training to perform appropriate in-office procedures
Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages within the past 5 years, or 1 year in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages plus a 1-year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in urgent care seeing patients of all ages
Completion of an accredited FNP or PA program
National certification as an NP or PA
State license obtained by the start date
Desired Skills: Experience in evidence-based primary care
Strong communication skills with patients from diverse backgrounds
Comfort using technology to support high-quality care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care model
Openness to feedback, reflection, and professional growth
Ability to adapt to changing patient and team needs
