This is a strong opportunity for an experienced hospice or healthcare sales professional who enjoys building relationships, working in the community, and helping patients and families better understand the value of hospice care.
The Senior Hospice Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships. This role will work closely with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, community partners, patients, and families to increase awareness of hospice services and support appropriate referrals. This is a good fit for someone who is comfortable in the field, enjoys professional outreach, understands healthcare referral development, and can represent hospice services with warmth, confidence, and credibility.
Requirements
Minimum two years of sales, marketing, business development, liaison, or referral development experience in healthcare required.
Hospice/palliative care or home health, experience required.
Healthcare service sales experience required; outside referral development experience is strongly preferred.
Bachelor?s degree preferred; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of degree.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, facility leadership, community partners, and referral sources.
Strong communication, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the broader team.
