Senior Manager, HR Business Partner – Commercial
Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Pay: $75/hour
Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire
Kelly is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to support the U.S. Commercial organization of a leading global healthcare company.
This position will partner directly with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, providing hands-on HR support in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience serving as a dedicated HR Business Partner to a sizable commercial organization, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industries.
Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with commercial leadership across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to support business and workforce priorities.
Provide hands-on guidance regarding employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, and organizational effectiveness.
Support compensation planning, merit cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
Advise leaders on organizational changes, employee development, and talent management strategies.
Manage day-to-day HRBP responsibilities while balancing longer-term business objectives.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and other internal partners to execute HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as a hands-on HR Business Partner supporting corporate commercial functions, including Sales, Marketing, or Commercial Operations.
Experience partnering with leaders across sizable employee populations in a matrixed organization.
Strong background in employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or a closely related industry strongly preferred.
Ability to independently manage HRBP responsibilities while serving as a trusted advisor to business leadership.
Experience working directly with commercial business leaders rather than exclusively supporting HR operations or administrative functions.
Bachelor's degree required.
Additional Information
This is an individual contributor position without direct reports. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating as both a strategic business partner and a hands-on HR practitioner.
