Job description
AES Corporation is seeking a senior substation engineer to oversee high voltage design and EPC contractor activities for renewable and conventional assets in the Eastern US. You will lead technical discussions with EPCs, utilities, and internal teams to ensure compliant, reliable HV facilities.
The role requires strong knowledge of grid integration for renewables, experience with HV equipment, and frequent field work with travel estimated at 25% across Eastern/Central US.
