The Role:

The Entegris site in Bedford, MA isseekingan experienced and highly motivatedSeniorIndustrialEngineer to join our team.

The Senior Industrial Engineer will lead initiatives to drive safety, operational efficiency, and manufacturing excellence across the production floor. This roleis responsible forimproving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE),optimizinglabor and materialutilization, and enhancing production systems through LEAN methodologies and digital transformation.

This individual will work cross-functionally toidentifyinefficiencies, implement sustainable improvements, and develop scalable processes that support both current operations and future growth. A strong hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor is essential.The ideal candidate will bring deepexpertisein manufacturing systems (SAP, MES), capacity planning, and continuous improvement, while actively driving measurable performance gains.

WhatYou'llDo:

Safety & Operational Excellence

Championa safety-first culture while integrating safety considerations into all process improvements

Lead LEAN manufacturing initiatives toeliminatewaste and improve process flow

Develop and enhance a visual factory with clear metrics, targets, and performance tracking

OEE & Equipment Efficiency

Drive OEE system implementation, standardization, and adoption across operations

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on OEE losses and execute sustainable corrective actions

Improve equipmentutilizationand operational efficiency, including targeted improvements on PECVD processes (liner changes, changeovers, uptime optimization)

Production Planning & SAP Optimization

Improve schedule adherence through SAP master data optimization

Drive lead time reduction initiatives through workflow and system improvements

Develop and manage Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) models in SAP

Enhance rework, yield, and WIP visibility through system improvements and reporting

Material, Inventory & Flow Optimization

OptimizeWIP levels to reduce queue times and improve throughput

Improve consumable and bulk material usage

Drive inventory optimization strategies aligned with production demand

Improve spaceutilizationand storage efficiency

Labor Efficiency & Productivity

Analyze and improve labor efficiency, ensuringaccuratecapture of all work

Optimizelabor work centers and reporting structures in SAP

Drive labor productivity improvements with clear metrics

Establish and track work cell performance targets and standard metrics

Digital & Process Transformation

Lead transition from paper-based processes to electronic systems

Support long-term MES strategy and implementation initiatives

Improve data integrity and accessibility to enable data-driven decision making

Setvisualfactory model.

Manufacturing & NPI Support

Assess new product manufacturing readiness, including routings, BOMs, layout, and workflow efficiency

Develop and implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) for production processes

Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, supply chain) to drive alignment and execution

Execution & Leadership

Actively work on the manufacturing floor toidentifyissues and implement solutions firsthand

Lead cross-functional improvement efforts with a strong bias for action and accountability

Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, yield, throughput, and cost

What We Seek:

BS or MS inIndustrialEngineering or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of manufacturing experience in high-volume, technically complex industries such as semiconductor, medical device, precision manufacturing, aerospace, biotechnology, or similar regulated manufacturing environments

Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience applying Lean tools to improve manufacturing and operational performance

Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems

Demonstratedleadership skills with the ability to influence, guide,engineersand operations personnel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including statistical analysis and structured troubleshooting methods.

Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.

Strong communicationskills with the ability to present technical information clearly to executives, peers, and customers.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:

Proven experience leading complex investigations, implementing process control systems, and improving stability and capability.

Expertisewith Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving tools.

Demonstrated track record of identifying operational inefficiencies, developing improvement strategies, and leading implementation efforts that deliver measurable business results.

Demonstratedsuccess leading cross-functional initiatives.

Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom requirements.

A continuous improvement mindset and strong ownership of results.

Compensation: $91,000- $135,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
