Senior InspectorAECOM is seeking a Civil Highway Project Inspector to support highway-related Construction Management projects in Suffolk County. In this role, you will assist with field inspections, monitor construction activities, and help ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful transportation projects while gaining valuable experience within a leading engineering and construction services team.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationDue to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is requiredHighway/Bridge ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Excellent written communications and presentation abilities.Microsoft Office, CEES and EBO software, as well as MURK, Federal Aid policies and procedures and the NYS LPM (formally PLAFAP) ManualAble to perform Office Engineer type functions in addition to necessary project Civil Field Inspection dutiesSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this positionRelocation is not available for this positionThis posting is for a current vacancy, and AECOM intends to fill this position by September 10th, 2026.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
